Week beginning: 08.06.2020
Below is a week of lessons which are to be followed in order. Remember each day to recap what has been done the previous day. I want you to use as many resources as you can to make what is being asked. Not just saying an repeating. In order for you to fully understand your work I want you to make your work with resources; you can use anything in your home or in your gardens e.g. stones, tea bags, sugar cubes etc... I want you to draw your work in different arrays(pictures of objects). I have then attached a worksheet and a few extra challenges you can do.
*Remember to keep practicing counting from 0-100 forwards, backwards, in 2s, 5s, 10s, and starting on different numbers. Splitting them up using tens and ones, identifying what is an even number, odd number and finally always explaining why to all of your maths problems.*
If you have been creative with your work, send me a picture to firstname.lastname@example.org. I will put it up on this page and your learning and completion of work could inspire someone else.
In addition, I have also uploaded activities on Mymaths.
Remember you can also use TTRockstars.
You can also challenge your class and me to a times table match. Just let me know you have challenged me and I will accept your challenge.
You now have access to Classroom Secrets Kids Zone. This has loads of new games for practicing your math skills for Year 1. If You would like your login, please email me and I will send you your logins.
I have also changed the challenge on TTRockstar for everyone in Year 1. Follow the training set on 'Garage' and 'Arena' from today until the end of August.
