Home Learning 4.1.2021
Below I have attached 3 activities for you to complete on Monday 4th January for home learning. Should you wish to do any more work, there are many practice SATS papers at the bottom of our class page that can be completed at your own pace.
Please feel free to email me if you have any questions on email@example.com and I look forward to seeing you all soon. :)
1. Maths -
WALT: calculate angles in turns.
Watch the video clip below and then complete the worksheet called 'Angles in a turn'. If you are unable to print the worksheet, simply jot your answers down on a piece of paper/in your homework book. I have also attached the answers for you so that you can mark your work.
WALT: make predictions
Read the blurb and then the first 2 chapters (see below) of our new class book Stormbreaker by Anthony Horowitz. Afterwards make a prediction about what you think will happen in the story. If you have already read this story, make up an alternative ending for Alex Rider.
3. Computing -
WALT: use simple blocks to control a character.
Click on this link https://code.org/learn or google 'hour of code'.
Choose an activity to complete by following the instructions carefully. Each activity has a suggested age range next to it - this should help you decide which one to choose as obviously the younger year groups will be more straight forward and the older ages will be more tricky.
