If you are interested in sending your child to Maltese Road Primary School, we warmly encourage you to contact the school office to arrange a visit. We would be very pleased to meet you and show you around our school.

In recent years, the school has been oversubscribed, so if you would really like your child to attend Maltese Road Primary School, it is important that you list us as your first preference when applying.

For parents seeking a Reception place for the September 2026 intake, we will be holding three open afternoons in November. These sessions will provide an opportunity for prospective parents to visit the school, meet members of our staff team, and learn more about life at Maltese Road.

Parents who require a place at Maltese Road Primary School should contact the School Admissions Team for further information and to complete an online application.

If your child is refused a place at our school, please contact Essex County Council, who will support you in securing an alternative school place.

Admission Into Our School (Mid-Year Transfers)

If you are looking to join Maltese Road Primary School from another school, you must apply directly to the school, not through the Local Authority.

For applications into existing year groups, a place can only be offered if the number of pupils in that year group is below the published admission number.
