Autumn 1

The Stone Age

Welcome to the Stone Age!

Get ready to step back in time—way, way back—to a world where there were no cars, no electricity, and no supermarkets! We’re about to explore the incredible Stone Age, a time when early humans painted on cave walls, hunted with stone tools, and built fires to stay warm. You'll learn to place events on a timeline using BCE and CE, discover why people did the things they did, and even become young archaeologists by looking at real artefacts!

We'll find out what life was really like for the first settlers, how they survived, and how their world was both very different—and a little bit the same—as ours today. So get ready, because an exciting prehistoric adventure is about to begin!

Autumn 2

India

We're about to journey to the incredible country of India! We’ll travel through time to learn about the British Raj and meet Mahatma Gandhi, who helped India gain independence through peaceful protests.

But it’s not just history—we’ll become geographers too! You’ll find India on a map, discover major cities like New Delhi, and learn about its location in Asia. We’ll explore its landscapes—from the Himalayas to the River Ganges—and look at its climate, forests, farmland, and more. We’ll also dive into life in India today: busy cities, quiet villages like Chembakolli, delicious food, languages, religions, and how people live and travel.

You’ll even become mini scientists—tracking weather, using maps and aerial photos, and comparing life in India with our own.

It’s a journey full of history, geography, culture, and fun—India is waiting!
