IMPORTANT: ZOOM PROTOCOLS

By accepting the Zoom meeting ID and joining the meeting, with parental responsibility, you agree to the terms set:

 

  • Zoom is only to be accessed by a device in a communal family space.
  • It should ideally be supervised by adult to deal with any technical difficulties.

  • Attendees should be dressed appropriately. No Nightwear. Do not allow children to Zoom whilst in bed.

  • The meeting ID is to remain confidential and not to be shared to anyone that it was not designated to.

  • Recording, photos or screenshots of the Zoom meeting are not allowed by participants.

  • For participants some Zoom facilities will be disabled by the host teacher. This includes but is not limited to the screen record function, chat and screen share.

  •  Children are to have their microphones set to mute, unless they are responding to an adult on the call or the teacher asks them to unmute their microphone. 

  • The pages that the teacher is sharing are only to be annotated by the teacher or if the teacher asks anyone to annotate them.

  • The same behaviour expectations that are set within a classroom apply to the Zoom meeting.

  • Lastly no extra devices such as phones, ipad, tablets (unless used for the zoom) should be present during this session
