NEAR AND FAR
In Spring Term, we will be learning about an important piece of local history - Marconi's invention of the radio. We'll also be learning about local geography, practising fieldwork skills such as using compasses, using local maps of Chelmsford. In science, we will be learning about space. We will be finding out all about the planets in our solar system, and the movement of the Earth and the Moon relative to the Sun and other planets in the solar system. In D&T, we will be designing and creating our very own space rovers, which will be moved using a motor pulley system. Our artwork will be inspired by retrofuturism, and we will be exploring painting techniques to try to create images of space.
