EARTH AND SPACE

In Spring Term, we will be learning all about Earth and space. We will be finding out all about the planets in our solar system, and the movement of the Earth and the Moon relative to the Sun and other planets in the solar system. In D&T and computing, we will be designing our very own space rovers, which will need to be controlled through an algorithm on a computer program. We will consider the different ways to power our vehicle. Our artwork will be inspired by abstract space artist Peter Thorpe, and we will be exploring painting techniques to try to create effects similar to those in his paintings.
